Gavi DOCG, Casali del Barone

Taken from grapes grown in southern Gavi DOCG in Piedmont where the altitude is slightly lower and climate slightly warmer. Made from 100% Cortese, it has pronounced mineral notes along with some citrus and blossom. Fresh, fruit-driven and with a finish of salty, bitter almond; it's a great wine to pair all kinds of seafood.
